Ken Wingate, President

Ken Wingate, President of North Point Builders, has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, servicing organizations in the Baltimore metro region. In 1988, Mr. Wingate founded North Point Builders and continues to oversee its day-to-day operations.

Mr. Wingate has served on several construction industry association boards and he is an active member in the community. He is a Chairman of his church Board, volunteers with a Boy Scout troop, and you can find him on the field coaching children’s lacrosse in Howard County, Maryland.

Mr. Wingate is a graduate of Cornell University and is an active member of its Alumni Association. In his free time, Mr. Wingate enjoys golfing, playing music, and spending time with his family.

Roy Cook, Sr. VP & COO

Roy Cook, Sr. VP & COO of North Point Builders has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry and over 25 years in the Baltimore metro region. Mr. Cook has his finger on the pulse of all of North Point Builder’s construction jobs as he oversees scheduling and manages the on-site workforce.

Mr. Cook graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in structural engineering. After graduating, he began his career as a field superintendent and has advanced through the ranks to his present position with North Point Builders. As a structural engineer, Mr. Cook brings an ability to review and solve structural problems and is able to offer suggestions to the design team for optimal success. This has proven to be an invaluable asset for North Point Builder’s clients.

In his free time, Mr. Cook enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family in his vacation home on the Jersey Shore.
