K-12 EDUCATION
PIKESVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL
North Point Builders, Inc. was general contractor for this multipled phased, $12 million renovation complete of Pikesville Middle School in Baltimore County. The project involved the complete replacement of the school's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; food service equipment; laboratory casework. The projects included new locker rooms; restroom ADA upgrades; plus various lab spaces. The work is being completed while school remained in session.
SOUTHWEST ACADEMY
This project involves the renovation and systemic upgrades to an existing and fully operating middle school in Baltimore County , Maryland. In order to keep the school in operatrion with minimal disturbance the project was divided into seven phases. Southwest Academy (formerly Johnnycake High School) is receving new mechanical and electrical systems, replacement of the exterior windows, new science labs and computer labs, toilet room renovations, a new water and fire protection sprinkler system.
ABERDEEN HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION
Work is complete at Aberdeen High School in Harford County where North Point was the general contractor for a new addition that includes a two story classroom wing and additional locker room space. The project requires working around students and staff as school remained open during construction. This project was awarded the ABC of Maryland Award of Excellance for its project management and craftsmanship.
PLEASANT PLAINS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
North Point completed a full replacement of the exterior doors and windows at Pleasant Plains Elementary School in Towson, Maryland. The project included removal of hazmat containing window systems and replacement with a complete new Aluminum framed thermally designed window system. The work on the 50,000 Sf building was completed in multiple phases. The school remained operational during the entire project.
