Construction Manager for Howard County's first green building -- a new 50,000 SF community center in Western Howard County. Included in the Glenwood, MD, building are a 16,000 SF gymnasium, day care center, adult and senior center facility, full kitchen and dining facility, police station and multiple activity spaces.  North Point Builders provided budget development; participated with design team to develop schematic, design and construction drawings; monitored and analyzed construction schedule; prepared monthly requisitions; scheduled and facilitated progress meetings; prepared and distributed meeting minutes; maintained master documents and as-built drawings; managed communications among Owner, Design Engineer, and Contractor; assisted Owner with community relations, design management, and project closeout.  This Green Building is anticipated to receive a LEED Silver Certification.
