PIKESVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL

   

North Point Builders, Inc. was general contractor for this multipled-phased, $12 million renovation of Pikesville Middle School in Baltimore County. The project involved the complete replacement of the school's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as food service equipment and laboratory casework. The project also included new locker rooms, restroom ADA upgrades, plus various lab spaces. The work was completed while school remained in session. North Point Builders labored around the clock in many instances to mesh with the complex schedules of the staff and students.  A temporary office complex was erected to house teachers and students during portions of the construction when they were relocated from their classrooms. North Point Builders partnered with the school administration to host a construction Industry Career Day in the spring of 2008.
