The Southwest Academy (formerly Johnnycake High School) project involved the renovation and systemic upgrade of an existing, fully operational middle school in Baltimore County, Maryland. In order to keep the school going with minimal disturbance, the project was divided into seven phases. New mechanical and electrical systems, replacement of exterior windows, new science labs and computer labs, toilet room renovations, and new water and fire protection sprinkler systems were installed. All areas of the school received new face lifts of ceiling, lights and painting. North Point Builders worked both day and night shifts around the busy schedules of the staff and students.
